How can I book an appointment?

You can easily book your appointment by sending me a WhatsApp message, emailing me, or connecting with me on social media. (Instagram or Facebook)

How long does the procedure take?

The permanent makeup procedure typically takes between 2 to 3 hours. This includes consultation, bespoke brow mapping, colour matching, and the treatment itself.

What should I know before my appointment?

To help ensure your treatment is safe, comfortable and achieves the best possible results, please keep the following in mind:

  • A £30 deposit is required to secure your appointment.

  • A patch test is required 24–48 hours before your appointment.

  • Please attend your appointment alone, as no guests are permitted.

  • Avoid alcohol and caffeine for 24 hours before your treatment.

  • Avoid sunbeds and tanning before your appointment.

  • Avoid waxing or tinting your brows for 24 hours before your appointment.

  • If you take blood-thinning medication, do not stop any prescribed medication without medical advice. Please speak to your doctor if you are unsure whether your medication is suitable before treatment.

Following these guidelines helps ensure your skin is in the best possible condition and allows me to achieve the best results for your brows.

Can I choose the shape and colour?

Absolutely. Your brows are fully personalised to you. Before treatment, we discuss your preferred shape, colour and overall look. I carefully map your brows and consider your natural brow shape, skin tone, hair colour and facial features to create a balanced, flattering result that enhances your natural appearance.

Can I have Powder Brows if I have oily skin?

Yes. Powder Brows can be a great option for oily skin, as the soft pixelated effect can heal beautifully and provide more definition than some other brow techniques. However, oily skin may affect pigment retention and how the brows heal, so results can vary from person to person. Your skin type will always be considered during your consultation.

Can I have Powder Brows if I have very little natural brow hair?

Yes. Powder Brows can be suitable even if you have sparse or very little natural brow hair. The technique creates the appearance of softly defined brows and can help restore shape, symmetry and definition. Your brows will be carefully mapped to create a natural-looking result that complements your facial features.

Will my results be natural?

At Permanent By Koko, I create soft, natural-looking Powder Brows designed to enhance your features and complement your unique beauty. Every treatment includes bespoke brow mapping and a carefully customised colour to achieve beautiful, balanced and natural-looking results.

How long do permanent brows last?

Powder Brows typically last 1–3 years, depending on your skin type, lifestyle and aftercare. Over time, the pigment gradually fades, allowing your brows to remain soft and natural. A colour refresh can be recommended when needed to maintain your desired look.

Do I need a touch-up?

Yes. A follow-up appointment is usually recommended 6–8 weeks after your initial treatment. This allows me to perfect the shape, colour and density once your brows have fully healed, helping to achieve beautiful, long-lasting results.

Is the treatment painful?

Most clients experience minimal discomfort during the procedure. I use a topical numbing cream to help keep you as comfortable as possible throughout the treatment. Many clients describe the sensation as a light scratching or gentle pressure.

Can you work over old permanent makeup?

Sometimes. Existing pigment needs to be assessed first. Please send clear photos of your brows before booking.

Do I need a patch test?

Yes. A patch test is required 24–48 hours before your appointment, according to your pre-treatment requirements.

What happens during the 6–8 week follow-up?

The follow-up appointment allows us to assess how your brows have healed and how well the pigment has been retained. Any areas that need additional colour, definition or small adjustments can be perfected during this appointment. The follow-up is an important part of the Powder Brows process and helps achieve the best possible healed result.
